The State Ministry of Education has dissolved boarding schools food monitors and set a direct feeding Committee immediately

This is contained in a statement signed by the Information Officer of the ministry Jalaludeen Usman and made available to newsmen in Bauchi

The statement also said the decision was reached after noticeable decline in the efficacy of ensuring for quality and quantity of the meals provided to the students

The state further explained that, the ministry’s action is to reassess and restructure the entire system aimed at enhancing the food provision in the boarding schools across the state

The statement added that, Governor Bala Mohammad’s led administration has priority on the important of providing balance food to students in order to enhance their academic performance and wellbeing

The statement also reaffirmed the state ministry of education readiness for zero tolerance against any act from any individual or people that would negatively affect smooth learning.
