The leadership of the Tapshin traditional council recently paid a congratulatory visit to the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board at his office.
This visit was a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for the Executive Secretary’s new role.
The Traditional Council, Bauchi State on Thursday applauded the state Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for appointing their son, Honorable Ibrahim Muhammad Gwallag as executive secretary Bauchi state Christian Pilgrims welfare board.
The traditional Council made this known during congratulations visit in his office.
Traditional Council and entire Tapshin community must thank the governor because all the past Bauchi State governors did not consider them as anything in terms of political appointment
He said that the newly appointed Commissioner for Works and Transport and Executive Sectretary Bauchi State Christian Pilgrims welfare board was the persons with the highest political appointment since the coming of Tapshin community in Tafawa-Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Your Excellency, we have confidence in our father, brother and son, Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad Gwallag , because we know him as a committed, dedicated, humble, experience and God-fearing man that will use his experience as retired civil service to contribute for the development of Bauchi state and Nigeria at large,”
During the visit, the traditional council leader Chief David Godit Mahamoud commended the Executive Secretary on his appointment and expressed their support for his leadership. They also discussed ways to strengthen ties between the Christian community and the government in Bauchi State.
The Executive Secretary Bauchi state Christian Pilgrims welfare board Hon Ibrahim Muhammad Gwallag appreciated the delegation’s gesture and promised to work closely with them to ensure the Tapshin community is carried along in government activities. This visit marks a significant step towards fostering a stronger relationship between the Christian community and the government in Bauchi State.
Similar congratulatory visits have been made to other government officials in Bauchi State, such as the appointment of Professor Titus Saul Ketkukah as commissioner for Works and Transport
