The Spokesperson and Chief whip of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Honourable Musa Wakili Nakwada has organized a remarkable iftar to staff of the assembly including Parliamentary Correspondents.
Aside bringing together the staff to break the fast with them, the lawmaker personally attended the iftar to further strengthen the bold between him and the staff.
Speaking at the event held at the premises of the State assembly Mosque, Musa Nakwada said he deemed it necessary to organized the iftar and share food, exchange prayers and foster unity.
Honourable Musa Nakwada who is also a member representing Bogoro constituency in the state assembly, extended his Ramadan greetings and acknowledged the importance of the holy month as well as the blessing it brings.
He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration and urged the assembly staff to continue to work together with their superiors for the development and progress of the State.
In a welcome address, the North East Vice president of PASAN, Comrade Isiyaka Jibrin Gital said the event was not only a gathering to break the fast, but a manifestation of the lawmaker’s commitment to serve the assembly staff and build a strong relationship with them.
He thanked the lawmaker for organizing iftar to Muslim faithfuls not only in the house and prayed that it will bring a lot of blessings to him.
In a vote of thanks, the Chairman, Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria Bauchi State chapter, Comrade Adamu Yusuf appreciated the lawmaker for stretching his hands of love to the people, describing the great works of Musa Wakili Nakwada as unprecedented.
