The Speaker Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman has said rhe Eid El-Fitr signifies the end of obligatory Ramadan fasting which is a period for sober reflection, kindness to one another and forgiving the known and unknown wrongs.
The speraker also said The Eid should not be centered on feasting or celebration alone, but should be a moment to revisit lessons learnt during the sacred month of Ramadan and abide by the noble Prophetic teachings in order to have a blessed life.
He equally mplored Muslims to exemplified in daily dealings the Prophet Muhammad’s good attitudes of trust, honesty, contentment and empathy to all in needs.
Dr Abunakar Suleimsn encouraged people on the importance of visits to the families and neighbors alongside children noting that such would make harmonious bonds stronger while teaching good morals to future generations.
Dr. Abubakar further charged citizens on being useful members of communities by imbibing the spirit of unity, forgiveness, peace, support to leaders while assisting them and the beloved Nigeria with incessant prayers.
He tasked masses to continue supporting the present administration of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulƙadir for him to keep standardizing lives with gigantic projects in the capital and all LGAs.
The Speaker expressed law makers’ commitments to facilitate the implementation of people-oriented policies highlighting the Assembly’s readiness to ensure swift legislations for all to thrive.
