Residents of Bogoro local government asked to rally round the present administration.

The Executive Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Council Mr. Yakubu Lawi Sumi has urged Muslim faithful and other people of the area to continue supporting Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir with prayers to enable him succeed.

He made the call in his Eid-El-Kabir message to the Muslim faithful in Bogoro Local Government area.

The Executive Chairman reaffirmed that his administration’s commitment to prioritize security issues, stressing that Bogoro LGA is not a place for criminals.

Meanwhile, the Village Head of Bogoro Mr. Nuhu Tafida has cautioned against disobedience and behavior that can impede the peaceful coexistence of the area.

The traditional leader was speaking when he received a delegation of Muslim faithful on a Sallah Homage in his palace.

He congratulated the Muslims for witnessing this year’s Eid El Kabir and urged them to imbibe the teaching of the religion through constant emulation of the prophet Muhammad’s deeds and  ways of life.

He commended security agencies for their efforts in maintaining peace in the area and urged his subjects to report suspicious activities to authorities concen for necessary action.

He further appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir and the Executive Chairman of Bogoro Yakubu Lawi Sumi for their tireless efforts and exemplary leadership style.

In the same vein, the Chief Imam of Bogoro, Malam Mohammed Ghani has called on Muslims to love one another as exemplified by the holy prophet, Muhammad, PBUH.

The cleric tasked Muslims to slaughter healthy animals for sacrificial rites.
