BASOVCA distributes Sallah gifts to orphans in Bogoro LGA.

Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children Agency has slaughtered cow and distributed meat to over 30 orphans and vulnerable children in Bogoro Local Government area to celebrate the 2025 Eid El Kabir.

At the distribution ceremony, the BASOVCA chairperson Hajiya Yalwa Abubakar, represented by the head of education Department of the agency Nuhu Dauda said the cows were provided by the Bauchi state Government through the agency for onward distribution to the beneficiaries.

He said the initiative is aimed at supporting Orphans during the sallah celebration.

Nuhu Dauda thanked the local Government for the warm reception accorded to the agency’s staff during the distribution exercise.

Also speaking, the Bogoro Local Government Executive Chairman Yakubu Lawi Sumi described the distribution as timely and an act of humanity to the less privileged.

Yakubu Lawi Sumi thanked Bauchi State Governor Sen. Bala Mohammed Abdullkadir for always bringing joy to the less privileged in the State.

Some of the beneficiaries interviewed expressed gratitude for the humanitarian support.
