BAHA Speaker rejoices with Gov. Bala Mohammed on the occasion of 2025 Eidul Kabir.

The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman has felicitated with the State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir and good people of the State on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Adha celebration.

The speaker in his 2025 sallah message tasked people of Bauchi State to remain united and pray for leaders at all levels to succeed.

According to him, the Eid celebration should be a period for sober reflection on the deeds of all believing servants and expressed gratefulness to Almighty Allah for the unquantifiable blessings and looking forward to a brighter future.

The parliamentarian hinted that animals sacrifices should be done with clean minds and intentions of getting rewards from Allah.

He enjoined elites and rich individuals to also extend help to relatives, neighbors and other people in need.

Rt. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman pounded on the need for Nigerians to unite for common goals irrespective of differences and more patriotic by engaging in what would redeem the dignity, progress and economic growth of the country.

The Speaker cautioned citizens against questionable utterances or prayers to leaders as actions or inactions have direct effects on the lives of common citizens.

He then charged leaders to be prudent, active and prioritize people’s needs.

The Speaker, Honorable Members and staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly therefore wished crime-free Eid celebrations while calling on people to be law abiding, respect rules and shun what will tarnish the image of the country.

He pointed out that, royal fathers as custodians of cultures and lands should also collaborate with security agencies to ensure safety of lives and valuables in this festive period and beyond.
