The Emir of Bununu, Alhaji Jibrin Danlami Hassan, and the Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, have expressed deep sympathy with the Emir of Duguri, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri, following recent security disturbances that affected several communities within the Duguri Emirate.
The two traditional rulers described the incidents as a “hard test” instigated by unpatriotic elements seeking to disrupt the peace of the area.
They called on the Muslim Ummah across the state to use the sacred period of Ramadan to offer prayers for lasting peace and stability in every part of the state and Nigeria as a whole.

The Emirs also urged security agencies to sustain and intensify their efforts in combating all forms of insecurity, emphasizing the need for collective responsibility in safeguarding lives and property.
In his response, the Emir of Duguri, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri, described the visit as a remarkable act of solidarity and humanity.
He expressed gratitude for the encouragement and moral support extended to him during the challenging period.
He also commended Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his prompt intervention in addressing the security situation.
Reaffirming his commitment to peace, the Emir of Duguri assured that his Emirate would continue to advocate vigilance among residents, urging communities to remain alert and promptly report any suspicious movements to the appropriate authorities.

The royal fathers collectively stressed that unity, prayer, and cooperation with security agencies remain critical to overcoming insecurity and fostering sustainable peace.
