PDP Governor’s Forum to intervene on the lingering crisis at the national working committee of the party.
The People’s Democratic Party Governors Forum has promised to intervene and work with relevant party organs to resolve the lingering crisis at the national working committee of the party.
The chairman of the forum and governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed made this known when he received north east stakeholders of the party led by Ambassador Umar Damagun on a solidarity visit at the Government House, Bauchi.
He said all the organs and stakeholders of the PDP would work together to resolve amicably all the suspension and legal issues in the party in a bid to return the party to power at the centre in the next general elections.
Governor Bala appreciated Ambassador Damagun and all the PDP stakeholders in the north east for their support to him as the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and promised to live up to expectations by uniting the party.
Earlier, Ambassador Damagun said the informal visit by the PDP stakeholders from the north east to the Governor of Bauchi state who is the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum was to discuss issues in the party across the country.
Damagun appreciated the governor for his unwavering support to the party and said that the leadership of PDP state chapters in the north east are behind the leadership of Bauchi governor as the chairman of PDP governors forum.
