Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation Agency organizes sensitization programme on Govt interventions for state and local governments.

The Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation Agency have organized a sensitization programme on eleven key Federal Government initiatives and interventions at the state and local government levels.

The programme held at the Federal Government Secretariat Town Hall Bauchi, witnessed prominent personalities.

Speaking at the sensitization programme, the Chairman of the Occasion who is also the State Commissioner Ministry for Information and Communication Comrade Usman Garba Danturaki, appreciated the foresight of the Federal Government in the areas of Agriculture, Education, Security, Housing, youths empowerment, which according to him had strengthen the National security among many others.

The Commissioner has promised continued support to the programme by ensuring that every citizens of the state is sensitized, in order to boost agriculture.

He appealed to the Federal Government to do justice while implementing the programme

He called on the beneficiaries to judiciously use the disbursement as expected of them.

In his welcoming address, the Commissioner  Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Ladan, revealed that, Bola Tinubu’s led administration is to empowering young Nigerians between the ages of eighteen to thirty five from all regions with knowledge, skills and mentorship as well as unlocking their potentials to become future leaders.

He said through the NDDC youth empowerment internship programme, the federal government is providing relief to ten thousand youths of the Niger Delta Region.

Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Ladan identified achievements by the present administration which include; disbursing over two Hundred million naira to the students as a load to enable the less privileged have access to school, the implementation of seventy thousand naira minimum wage, Local Government Councils autonomy among others.

In her presentation, the state Director National Orientation Agency, Mrs Theresa Omaga, assured Nigerians that Bola Tinubu led administration would come up with policies aimed at helping Nigerians.

She called Nigerians to remain patience with the current hardship, adding that in no distance time, Tinubu administration will put smile on Nigerians faces.

In a goodwill message, the Bauchi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Umar Sa’idu, urged the Federal Government to fast track the employment of teaming youths in the country, which according to him will go along way towards reducing poverty.

He also called on the Federal Government to improve the welfare of the Bauchi State TV and Radio stations as well as the renovation of the Bauchi State Federal Secretariat.
