Office of Bauchi First Lady collaborates with Renewed Hope Initiative and NITDA to train 120 women on Digital skills

The Office of the Bauchi State First Lady in partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative, and NITDA has trained over 120 women in digital skills in Bauchi.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in Bauchi, the state First Lady Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed said the initiative is geared to uplift women status to greater heights.

The state first Lady commended the graduates for their commitment to learn for self reliance

She emphasized the importance of empowering women with modern digital skills to prepare them for present evolving job market and economic realities.

Also speaking, , officials from NITDA, ZENITH bank and Director ICT Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa Community IT center highlighted the program’s goal to promote inclusion, economic self-reliance, and gender equity through practical skills acquisition.

Beneficiaries of the training expressed gratitude for the opportunity, describing the program as life-changing.

They shared what they acquired ion digital skills to include graphic design, digital marketing, and online business management—skills they say will help them become financially independent.

They called on stakeholders, public and private sectors to invest in similar initiatives that promote digital literacy and support women’s advancement in Bauchi and across Nigeria.
