Computer literacy and digital skills training has been described as an optimistic journey towards improving accuracy and efficiency in the civil service.
This was disclosed during certificate presentation and closing ceremony of one month computer training in different courses, organized by Federal Information Center, in collaboration with Bauchi State ministries department and agencies held at Federal Secretariat, Bauchi.
An instructor at the training, Mr Habib Edureka Inuwa, who spoke on behalf of the Federal Information, advised public and non governmental organisations to pay emphasis on equipping the staff with necessary digital skills as now transist into technology world.
Habib Edureka urged the participants not to stop learning said, computer practice is dynamic process that deals with contemporaries, therefore, asked them to sustain the relationship established during the training.
In their separate remarks, the representatives from Bauchi Radio Corporation Malam Ibrahim Muhammad, Bauchi Investment Corporation Hajiya Hafsa Adamu, Nigerian Custom Service Bauchi zone, GB Solomon and the representative of Bauchi State water and sewerage Corporation, believed that, the training will help in addressing issues arising from the ICT sector.
Participants expressed appreciation to their organizations for the opportunity given to them, promise to utilize the knowledge acquired in improving quality service delivery.
