Ningi Emir asked his subjects to respect constituted authorities

The Emir of Ningi Dr. Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya has called on his subjects to always respect constituted authorities for the growth and development of the area.

The Emir was speaking in his sallah message to the people of Ningi and Warji Local governments areas in his palace.

He admonished people of his emirate to live in peace with one another Irrespective of tribe, culture tradition and religion background for the progress of the local government.

The traditional ruler further called on people of Ningi and Warji local governments to fully engage in farming activities for food security in the local government, state and the country at large.

Meanwhile, The Chief Imam of Ningi Central Mosque, Dr. Umar Imam has emphasized the need and significant of helping the poor and the needy in Islam.

Dr. Umar Imam hinted this in his sermon after leading two raka’at eid el fitr prayer at the Ningi Central eid ground.

According to him, the needy and the poor needs a helping hand at this trying moment of economic hardship necessitated by the removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

He said Islam highlights the moral obligation to support the less fortunate and showcases how generosity can bring about meaningful change in the society.

The Ningi Chief Imam while calling on the Muslim Ummah to intensify prayers to over come the security and economic hardship in the country, said giving out zakkat and sadaqah to the poor and the needy is an obligation for every Muslim and it is an essential component of worshiping and appeasing Allah the Almighty.

To this end, Dr. Imam admonished believers to discover the spiritual rewards of embracing Islam’s call to help fellow human beings.
