Nigeria Army Artillery Brigade ,Bauchi Set to conduct first Range Classification firing Exercise

The Artillery Brigade , Nigeria Army Bauchi Would be conducting the first Range Classification Exercise.

The Exercise would be conducted from Monday twenty seventh to Thursday thirtieth April twenty twenty six from 7:00am to 5:00pm daily.

A Press statement signed by the Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Lieutenant O E Fagbolagun explained that the Exercise is aimed at enhancing troops’ proficiency in weapon handling, application of marksmanship principles, accurate shooting as well as test firing of personal weapons with a view to assessing battle readiness of the Units.

In view of the above, the statement informed members of the public, particularly residents around Shadawanka and it’s environs that there would be movement of troops and firing of weapons within the period of the exercise.

Similarly, the statement adds that there will be loud gunfire sounds in the area During the period and advised people not to panic, but to go about their lawful activities while necessary safety measures have been put in place to ensure that the exercise poses no threat to lives and property.

The headquarters of the 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi therefore solicited the cooperation and understanding of the general to ensure successful exercisem
