Nazeef Abba Pali emerges ATAP Bauchi, ASUP Chairman.

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi chapter has elected new officials that will run the affairs of the Union for a period of two years.
Announcing the election result held at the polytechnic’s ASUP Secretariat, the Electoral committee Chairman Musa Yakubu said, Nazif Abba Pali scored one hundred and fourteen votes to defeat his two opponents to emerged as Chairman.
Other winners, are Engineer Umar Abubakar Munkaila welfare, Muhammad Saidu Badara publicity Secretary, Aminu Ibrahim Azare treasure, engineer Muhammad Saidu Sale financial secretary, Samaila Ali assistant secretary, Ibrahim Sule Fanti general secretary and they were immediately sworn.
In his inaugural speech, the ATAP new ASUP Chairman Nazif Abba Pali thanked the management of the institution and entire members of ASUP for coming out en-mass to exercise their franchise.
Nazif Abba Pali said the cardinal point of action is to ensure rights and entitlements of ASUP members in the Polytechnic are pursue.
He called on the members to be diligent in their places of primary assignment as it will go a long way in fostering education in Nigeria and extends hand of fellowship to his co- contestants to join hands together for progress of the polytechnic
On his part, the Zone B Coordinator of ASUP from Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi Mr Simji Lompe tasked the new EXCO to work as a team and carry all members along irrespective of differences to achieve the set objectives
Earlier, the out gone Chairman of ASUP Dahiru Musa Abdullahi said the union under his leadership has achieved a lot of progress despite challenges
Dahiru Musa Abdullahi commended Governor Bala Mohammad for honouring their quest to appoint a rector within them, implementation of promotion as at when due, accreditation and reaccreditation of courses.
According to him, other projects executed by Kauran Bauchi to ATAP were the ongoing construction of road network within the polytechnic among others
He also commended the management of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi, ASUP members for their support to them and solicited the same to the new EXCO to enable them succeed.
