Acting Managing Director of Bauchi State Urban Water and Sewerage Corporation, Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda Conducts Assessment Visit to Misau Area Office.
The Acting Managing Director of the Bauchi State Urban Water and Sewerage Corporation, Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda accompanied by the management team, visited Misau area office yesterday 20th January 2026 to conduct a comprehensive assessment of water facilities and their functionality.
The primary objective of this visit was to evaluate the current state of water supply infrastructure in Misau area, ensuring that residents have access to safe and reliable water services. During the assessment, the team inspected various facilities, including water schemes, distribution networks, and storage systems.
In her remarks, Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda emphasized the importance of maintaining and upgrading water facilities to meet the needs of the community. “Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, and it is our duty to ensure that every resident in Bauchi State Urban cities has reliable access to this vital resource,” she stated. “This visit is part of our ongoing commitment to improve water services across the state.”
The team engaged with local staff and stakeholders, gathering insights and feedback on the challenges faced in the provision of water services.
The Acting Managing Director assured them that their concerns would be taken into account as the corporation develops strategies for improvement.
The visit concluded with a commitment to prioritize necessary upgrades and maintenance of water facilities/ infrastructure in Misau.
