Bauchi Local Government area has emerged as the overall best in the twenty twenty five implementation of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention SMC Progress in the state
The Bauchi State Chairman of BACATMA Dr Adamu Umar made the disclosure while presentating a certificate of Award and recognition to the Chairman of Bauchi local government area Alhaji Mahmood Babamaji for his council commitment and support towards the Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services surpassing other participating local government areas across the State
Receiving the award at the BACATMA headquarters, Bauchi the executive chairman of Bauchi local government area Alhaji Mahmood Babamaji, attributed the success of Seasonal malaria chemoprevention to the efforts of the staff of Bauchi local government area health Authority
He then commended the milestone achievement to the massive turn out of children to receive the S M C that reduced malaria incidence among children, with variable impact.
Alhaji Mahmood Babamaji reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to continuing its investment in the health sector to improve the well-being of the people of the local government area.
The chairman also commend the Director of BACATMA Dr Adamu Umar for finding Bauchi local government area worthy of beat performing among others and assured to sustain the spirit
