The Chairman of Jama’are Local Government Area, Alhaji Inuwa Abdullahi Mosha, has donated seven hundred thousand naira to the Christian Association of Nigeria, Jama’are Chapter, to support of the 2025 Christmas celebrations.
Presenting the donation, Inuwa Mosha said the gesture was in line with the commitment of the local government in promoting peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance and unity among people of different faiths in Jama’are.
He noted that, the area has continued to enjoy relative peace due to the mutual respect and understanding that exist among residents, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
The Council Chairman urged members of the Christian community to use the festive period to pray for peace, progress and sustainable development of Jama’are Local Government Area, Bauchi State and the country at large.
Inuwa Mosha also advised parents and guardians, to caution their children against reckless driving and other unlawful activities during the Christmas festivities.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the association, the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Jama’are Chapter, represented by the association’s Secretary, Mr. Zakari Shikolo, expressed appreciation to the local government chairman for the support.
He said the contribution would significantly enhance preparations for the Christmas celebration and further strengthen the cordial relationship between the local government administration and the Christian community in the area.
