Islamic Scholars in Bauchi state have kick against the Samoa LGBTQ agreement introduced by the Western world, describing it as anti human as well as anti religion.
The Islamic Scholars made their feelings known at a public lecture organised by Muslims Students Society of Nigeria MSSN held in Bauchi.
One of them, Professor Salisu Shehu said such agreement contravene the teachings and practice of the country’s norms and values.
Professor Salisu Shehu who is the Vice Chancellor of Istiqama University Sumaila Kano State, explained that it also undermines religion and Nigeria’s Cultural identify.
He urged relevant authorities to adopt the existing law that banned same sex marriage in the country.
According to him, Islamic scholars will not relent in educating Muslim Ummah of the danger of LGBTQ in Islam.
In his paper presentation, a lecturer from Bayero University Kano Professor Muhammad Babangida urged parent to be wary of the side effects of the LGBTQ
Earlier, the Bauchi state MSSN Amir, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Hameed said the lecture was organized to rub minds among Islamic scholars and young Muslims on ways to address challenges facing the Islamic communities and way out to protect Muslims from going astray.
