A reknown Islamic Scholar in Bauchi , Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Yusuf Guruntun has emphasized the need for authorities to ensure the protection of some key areas of human endeavour .
Sheikh Ahmad Guruntun gave the reminder during the presentation of Ramadan Tafsir at S-nineteen Masjid Dutsen Tanshi, Bauchi.
Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Guruntun outlined the key areas to include People’s Religion, their Wealth, Life and Property as well as protection against intoxicants.
According to him, these are the important aspect of human life that needs to be taken care of to be able to live a life of peace, togetherness and harmony.
He maintained that neglecting any of these areas is tantamount to deliberate plot to cause confusion and disharmony amongst the people.
, The cleric therefore advised those in authority to rise up as it is their responsibility to protect their citizens.
Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Guruntun also called on authorities to ensure justice and fairness in the discharge of their responsibilities.
He charged Muslims to continue to uphold the tenets of Islamic religion and respect constituted authorities for progress and development.
