GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED MOURNS LATE MAHMUD MAI-SHANU

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed,, has condolenced the Government, and people of Bauchi State over the passing away of Alhaji Mahmud Muhammadu Maishanu, a distinguished administrator and elder statesman who served Bauchi state government with dedication and commitment as the Secretary to the Military Government under the leadership of Brigadier General Sani Sami in 1984.

Governor Mohammed noted that, Alhaji Mahmoud Maishanu’s contributions to the development of Bauchi State will remain indelible and his exemplary leadership, commitment to service, and unwavering dedication to public goodwill would always be remembered.

He described the deceased as a man of integrity, vision and commitment, who served Bauchi State and its people with unparalleled dedication, sacrifice, adding that his contributions to the growth, stability and progress of Bauchi State will never be forgotten.

Governor Bala Mohammed said the news of his death has left all in a deep sorrow, describing the demise as a great loss not only to his immediate family ,but also to the entire people of Bauchi State.

He prayed that the Almighty Allah (SWT) will forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Aljanna Firdaus. and grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the great loss.
