GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED INAUGURATES MULTI BILLION NAIRA ROAD PROJECT IN MISAU

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has said that the dualization of road from the AD Rufa’i College of Islamic Legal Studies to Government Secondary School, Misau is to assist in saving innocent lives.
Flagging off the construction of the dual carriageway, the Governor explained that though it is a Federal road, his administration took it upon itself to do the road for the good of the people of the State and by extention, Nigerians who are using the road.
Governor Bala Mohammed promised that the project would be completed within 18 months and called on the contractor to execute the project according to specifications.
The Governor then assured that his administration will continue to embark on people oriented projects and programmes.
The Commissioner of Works and Transport, Hon Ibrahim Galadima expressed confidence that the contractor will perform as contained in the contractual agreement and will deliver on scheduled.
Similarly, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed says his administration has prioritized Critical infrastructure development projects for economic and agricultural advancement of the state.
He also affirmed his administration’s resolved to work with traditional Rulers towards disseminating actual community demands devident of Democracy in the state.
The governor who was speaking at Earth breaking ceremony for the construction of 5.2KM dual carriage road in Azare, Katagum Local government, noted that the political and judicial period is over, therefore his administration will now continue to actualize his developmental agenda.
Appreciating the love and support of Katagum Emirate Council to his administration, Governor Bala Muhammad stated that the 5.2KM road is been suggested by the Emir of Katagum Alh. Umar Faruk II and pointed out that the road when completed will open a new face of Azare township urban development and also ease transportation for people.
In a remark, the Emir of Katagum, Alh. Umar Faruk II commended the governor for actualizing the long awaited dream of Katagum people and affirmed the support of the Katagum Emirate and it’s people to the Governor for socioeconomic development of the state.
