Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed Mourns death of Veteran Journalists in Bauchi

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has condoled the family and good people of Bauchi State over the death of a Veteran Journalist in Bauchi, Malam Dalhat Hamid Bello, the General Manager of Albishir Radio, who passed away after a brief illness.

Governor Bala Mohammed described the death of Malam Dalhat Hamid Bello as a great loss to Bauchi State, particularly to the media and broadcasting sector. The late Malam Dalhat was a seasoned broadcast journalist and administrator who rose diligently through the ranks, serving at various levels with commitment and professionalism.

He also served meritoriously as the Acting Managing Director of the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC), where he contributed significantly to the growth and stability of the organization.

The Governor noted that Malam Dalhat Hamid Bello was widely respected for his dedication to public service, ethical journalism, and his passion for promoting Islamic values through the media.

He was a prominent figure in the organization and conduct of the annual Qur’anic Recitation Competitions and played a key role in the production and presentation of various Islamic radio programmes that positively impacted the spiritual and social lives of the people of Bauchi State and beyond.

Governor Bala Mohammed extended therefore extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the management and staff of Albishir Radio, the Bauchi Radio Corporation, the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ ) , the media family , and the entire people of Bauchi State over the great loss .

He prayed that the Almighty Allah will forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family, colleagues, and loved ones the fortitude to bear this great loss.
