EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN ALKALERI LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL EXPRESSES READINESS AND DETERMINATION OF HIS ADMINISTRATION TO ENSURE TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND DUE PROCESS IN RUNNING THE ADMINISTRATION

The executive chairman Alkaleri local government area Alhaji Hassan Garba Bajama has commended the members of the Bauchi state house of assembly particularly finance committee over their sight function visit Alkaleri local government.
Bajama expressed the readiness and determination of his administration in ensuring transparency, accountability and due process in spending the local government funds.
The chairman further explained that, his part of primary responsibility is to keep the financial records intact via using open door policy to address some challenges of his local government.
In his remarks, the chairman committee on finance and economic development of the state house of assembly Ibrahim Tanko Burra explained that, the purpose of the visit is to a certain that the local government council is following due process in utilizing the local government funds in connexion with the regulations governing the financial activities of the local government.
Other reasons he said is to verify the remittance of revenue generated to local council coffers and to ensure transparency and accountability of the financial records of the local government while applauding the chairman over the warm welcome accorded to committee members.
