The Sarkin Inkil, Alhaji Sani Abdullahi, has called on people in positions of authority to intensify efforts toward promoting humanity and sustainable development across the country.
He made the appeal while receiving a thanksgiving delegation at his palace in Inkil, following the conferment of the traditional title of 1st Kaigaman Inkil on Alhaji Ibrahim Tijjani Balange.
Alhaji Abdullahi explained that the title was bestowed on Balange in recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanity and community development, particularly in Bauchi State.
He noted that Balange has positively impacted the lives of over 1,000 youths and women in the Inkil community, in addition to providing continuous support to the less privileged.
Describing the honouree as a symbol of hope and a key contributor to national development, the Sarkin Inkil urged him to sustain his good work not only in Inkil but throughout the state.
He also assured the Kaigaman Inkil of the full support and cooperation of the Inkil community, emphasizing their commitment to his success in all future endeavors.
The traditional ruler further encouraged leaders at all levels to emulate Balange’s humanitarian efforts in order to accelerate national development and improve the well-being of citizens.
Earlier, speaking on behalf of the honouree, Alhaji Usman Elyakub Muhammad said the delegation of family and friends visited the palace to express gratitude for the honour bestowed on Balange.
He assured the Sarkin Inkil that the dignity of the palace would be upheld, adding that the Kaigaman Inkil would continue to serve as a worthy ambassador of the community.
Muhammad also noted that the conferment of the title did not come as a surprise, given Balange’s long-standing record of community service and dedication to humanitarian causes.
