BAUCHI SUBEB TRAINS LOCAL GOVERNMENT BASIC EDUCATION MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM OFFICERS

Basic Education management Information system is a comprehensive digital platform developed by UBEC to revolutionize how Education Data is managed across Nigeria.

Director planning Research and Statistics Alhaji Ilyasu Buba made the disclosure at a train the trainers workshop for the twenty local government Education management Information system officers which took place at SUBEB conference Hall, Bauchi

Adamu Iliyasu Buba who was represented by Education management Information system officer SUBEB Bauchi Malam Hamisu Aminu Ibrahim said EMIS served as a centralized hub for collecting, organizing, analysing and reporting Educational information from early childhood care Development and Education up to Junior secondary schools across the thirty six states and the FCT.

The Director said the purpose of the workshop is to educate the local government Education management Information system officers on the new techniques of basic education management Information systems.

He therefore called on the participants to give full concentration so as to step down the needed knowledge to their subordinates on the basic education management Information system so as to achieve the desired objective.

Alhaji Ilyasu Buba therefore use the forum and called on the participants to demonstrate high level of ICT professionalism during their assignment.

In their vote of thanks on behalf of the participants Malam Ibrahim Mijinyawa from Toro and Mrs Hauwa Gadzama from Warji local government areas expressed their happiness to SUBEB and UBEC for organizing the training to update their professional knowledge.

The participants therefore promised to step down the training to their subordinates at the local government level so as to achieve the desired objective.
