The Chairman Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Abubakar Isa Baba, has called for collaboration with journalists to enhance basic education in the state.
Speaking During a meeting held with journalists, Alhaji Abubakar emphasized the need to educate parents on the importance of enrolling, retaining, and ensuring Schools completion for their children.
He highlighted Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration commitment to improving education, particularly at the basic level, and commended journalists for being the watchdog of the society.
Alhaji Abubakar assured his commitment to working with stakeholders to ensure students acquire quality knowledge and good moral conduct.
Responding, Alhaji Salisu Bala Haliru, representing journalists, assured of accurate, balanced, and objective coverage in discharging their responsibilities.
