Bauchi State School for Technical Education calls for partnership to enhance participation

A committee from the School of Technical Education Dass has paid a courtesy and advocacy visit to the Executive Chairman, Bogoro Local Government Chairman Mr. Lawi Yakubu Sumi as part of efforts to create awareness on the activities of the school’s programmes.

During the visit, the committee enumerated the objectives of the School of Technical Education and highlighted the various technical programmes offered, with emphasis on skills acquisition, self-reliance, and youth empowerment.

The committee sought the Chairman’s support in publicizing the ongoing admission and encouraging eligible youths within the Local Government Area to enroll.

The Executive Chairman while receiving the committee and commended the institution for its role in technical and vocational education, and assured the committee of the Council’s support in disseminating information through relevant channels to enhance awareness and participation.

The visit ended on a positive note, with mutual commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Local Government Council and the School of Technical Education Dass for the development of technical education in the area.
