Bauchi State Pilgrims Arrive Madinah Safely for 2026 Hajj

The first batch of intending pilgrims from Bauchi State has arrived safely in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, to commence the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The Director of Enlightenment of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Malam Abubakar Hashimu, disclosed this shortly after the pilgrims’ arrival in the Holy Land.

He said the airlift was successful and conducted without any reported challenge.

According to him, the pilgrims were received by officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON and other relevant authorities in Madinah, who facilitated their movement and accommodation arrangements upon arrival.

Malam Abubakar Hashimu advised the intending pilgrims to remain law-abiding, disciplined, and committed to the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage.

He urged them to devote themselves fully to prayers and other acts of worship throughout their stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The enlightenment Director further called on the pilgrims to conduct themselves in accordance with Islamic teachings and represent Bauchi State and Nigeria positively, while praying for peace, unity, and progress of the country, expressing hope that they would attain a successful and accepted Hajj, known as Hajj Mabrur.
