Bauchi state government has reiterated its commitment to provide new modalities that would improve learning process among students in the state.
The Deputy Director Examinations of the Ministry of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Labaran Ibrahim gave the assurance when she led a monitoring team to inspect the conduct of examination of merit organised among schools centers
According to the Deputy Director, about fifteen thousand students are expected to participate in the merit schools examination across the thirty three centers in the state.
He said the aim of the examination is to encourage parents and guardians to send their children to boarding schools to enable them become responsible leaders.
Alhaji Ibrahim Labaran described the performance of the students across the state as commendable adding that they will compete favourably with their peers in private schools
He used the medium to commend the effort of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad towards strengthening the education system, particularly by providing conducive atmosphere for effective teaching and learning.
Mallam Labaran Ibrahim also appreciated the leadership style of the state Commissioner for Education Dr. Jamila Muhammad Dahiru for her untiring efforts aimed at streghthening the education sector in the state.
