BAUCHI STATE GOVERNOR INAUGURATES COMMITTEE ON WORLD BANK-ASSISTED PROJECTS FOR LIVESTOCK PRODUCTIVITY AND RESILIENCE SUPPORT PROJECTS

Governor Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir has inaugurated the Bauchi State Committee on World Bank-assisted projects made up of livestock productivity and resilience support projects.
Inaugurating the committee held at the Council chambers, Government House Bauchi, the governor stated that the state government has taken all the required steps to modernize and rebrand the veterinary clinic and abators, which will significantly increase the value and worth of our state and its residents.
Governor Bala Mohammed applauded and appreciated the World Bank and the Federal Government for choosing Bauchi State as one of the states that will benefit from the projects.and assured them of his total support towards actualizing the projects.
In a remark, the state Commissioner of Agriculture and Rural development, Professor Simon Madugu Yalams, who doubles as the Chairman of the Committee applauded Governor Bala Mohammed for his foresight and zeal to transform the agricultural sector of the state and his assurance toward the successful implementation of the projects.
According to him, the state government has made a lot of efforts towards transforming the agricultural sector from being a way of life for the people to a business that will enhance the earning capacity of the team farming families in the state.
