Bauchi State Government Orders Immediate Vacation of Encroached Lands at Kafin Zaki Dam Irrigation Area

The Bauchi State Government has issued a direct order for all persons encroaching on lands designated for Kafin Zaki Dam irrigation project to vacate immediately.
The directive was made public during a visit by the Hadeja Jamaare River Basin Development Authority HJRBDA to the planned irrigation zone in Ganjuwa Local Government Area, where officials gathered to revive a four-decade-old agricultural dream first initiated during the administration of President Shehu Shagari.
Speaking during the inspection tour, the Bauchi State Commissioner for lands and Survey Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad Gwaram who was represented by Director of Inspectorate and Monitoring Supervision at the Ministry, Comrade Sale Umar Misau, disclosed that Governor Governor Bala Muhammad gave a direct order to address all issues surrounding the vital land.
