Bauchi State Government directs tourism related business owners to register with the STDC
Bauchi State Government has directed all tourism related business owners to register with the State Tourism Development Corporation with a view to protect tourism consumers in the state.
The General Manager Bauchi state Tourism Development Corporation, Mal. Muhammad Nasir Yusuf made this known during a courtesy visit to NTA Bauchi.
Muhammad Nasir Yusuf said, the measure is to have a data bank of the tourism related business owners in order to prevent the customers from consuming unhealthy consumables.
He said that the purpose of the visit is to strengthen relationship with Nigerian Television Authority in his quest to promote tourism activities in the state.
The General Manager noted that, with vast tourism resources abound in the state, the media is a key partner towards achieving the desired result.
Responding, the General Manager, Nigerian Television Authority Bauchi, Haj. Fati Isah, expressed her delight for the visit and assured of the stations readiness to partner with the Corporation for the development of tourism sector in the state and the county at large.
Hajiya Fati Isah further said the importance of ancestry knowledge can not be over emphasized saying, projecting to the public will go along way in intimating people about the resources which will attract revenue generation to the state.
