The Bauchi State Commissioner of Budget, Economic Planning and Multilateral Coordination Haj Amina Muhammad Katagum says the second phase of the State Action Plan, SAP II under the Open Government Partnership 2026-2028 will focused. On reviewing and implementing polices that promote equitable access to basic services such as education, Health water and sanitation. The Commissioner of the Ministry who made disclosure at the Yamir Hotels and Suites, explained that the plan also centered on strengthening social protection frameworks and advancing Gender-Responsive governance initiatives which geared towards deepening public trust and as well strengthening the relationship between the government and the people of Bauchi State. Hajiya Amina Muhammad Katagum opined that if the 3years plan is effectively reviewed developed, implemented and sustained the OGP reforms in Bauchi State will no doubt significantly improve service delivery and deepening democratic governance across the State. According to the Commissioner since the State government joined the Open Government Partnership in 2022, the State has demonstrated strong commitment which focused on access to Information, Citizen engagement, fiscal transparency and inclusive has significantly improved transparency, accountability and inclusive governance The Ministry boss said as part of the strengthening citizens engagement in the budgeting process, the Ministry in collaborative with the development partners introduced the community charter of Demand. Provided the citizens to articulate their needs and priorities for consideration and possible inclusion in the State Annual Budget. In. Addition the Ministry conduct Budget Public Consultations bridging together diverse stakeholders groups including PWD, traditional and religious leaders,traders and artisans, women among other to ensure broad-based participation and inclusiveness in the budget process.
DAMBAM AEOs, SSOs And AVTs CHARGED TO BE UP AND DOING

Area Education officers, School Support officers and Arabic visiting Teachers in Dambam local government area have been charged to be up and doing in discharging their responsibilities.
Director monitoring and Evaluation of SUBEB Bauchi Malam Abbas Abdulmumini gave the charge while meeting with the education officers at the Dambam local government secretariat conference Hall.
Malam Abbas Abdulmumini said the meeting which is part of schools resumption monitoring activities is aimed at ascertaining the resumption of schools in the state.
The SUBEB monitoring and Evaluation Director said the Agency is to ascertain Teachers, principal and Head teachers readiness to commence academic and other school activities.
He said the purpose of the visit is to monitor and supervise basic education sector so as to have a proper teaching and learning for the better .
Also commenting a member of the monitoring team Zuhairu Usman called on the education supervising officers to be God fearing and up and doing in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Zuhairu Usman who is the director schools services in SUBEB said teaching is a god fearing profession that needs commitment and dedication.
He said monitoring and Evaluation visitations to schools is not aimed at molesting or witchunting any staff or teacher it is for corrections for better tomorrow.
In his vote of thanks the Education Secretary Dambam local government Alhaji Mohammed Abdulaziz Gololo commended the directorate of monitoring and Evaluation SUBEB for visiting Dambam to monitor the school resumption exercise.
He therefore challenged the Area Education officers, School Support officers and Arabic visiting Teachers to be up and doing for Dambam to excel in basic education.
