Bauchi State Goverment prohibits farming activities within Kaura City Area

Bauchi State Government through Ministry of Land and Survey has prohibited farming activities within Kaura City (Old Airport) area during this year’s rainy season.
In an official statement, the Ministry informed the public that all plot allottees in the Kaura City layout are now legally poised to take physical possession of their allotted plots.
The Ministry further stressed that this marks the formal transition of the area from a vacant government reserve Area to an active urban settlement.
The statement further warned that any farmer found encroaching on or cultivating any portion of the Kaura City Area will bear full responsibility for any consequences, including loss of crops, eviction, or possible legal action.
