Bauchi State First Lady calls for constant prayers for Leaders toward good governance

The Bauchi state first lady Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad has emphasised the need for citizens of the state to ensure constant prayers for their leaders to enable them provide dividends of democracy.
The first lady gave the charge during the distribution of Cash for the empowerment of over three thousand women and Youths worth Seventeen million two hundred and fifty five thousand Naira organised by the chairperson Bauchi local Government council, held at the local Government Secretariat.
Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad noted that the present administration in the state attached high premium to the welfare of both women and Youths, considering their relevance in the society, sighting the chairperson Bauchi local Government council, being one of the female personalities appointed to hold various political offices in the state.
She commended the chairperson Bauchi local Government council, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko for augmenting people oriented programmes of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed led administration.
Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad used the forum to call on the Beneficiaries to make judicious of the package in order to improve their welfare.
In his goodwill message , the executive secretary, Bauchi state Muslim welfare Board ,Imam Abdulrahaman Ibrahim Idris noted that the gesture would impact positively on the lives of the beneficiaries, considering the current economic hardship being experienced in the country.
Earlier in her speech, the chairperson Bauchi local Government council, Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko said she borrowed a Leave From the first lady’s kind gesture of cushioning the difficulties being experienced by the populace, particularly PDP Supporters who contributed positively in one way or the other towards the success of the Kaura led administration in the state.
Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for his commitment towards implementation of developmental programmes for the socio economic development of the state.
Highlights of the occasion was donation of Bags of Rice, Sugar and cash by the Bauchi state first lady to the Beneficiaries.
