Bauchi state fire service has pledged to support the Nigerian army towards strengthening skills aimed at ensuring safety in all army formations in the state.
The acting Director of the state Bauchi State fire service, Builder Dauda Bala Pali made the pledge while receiving a delegation from the Nigerian army special vehicle plant in his office.
The acting Director of the state fire service who commended the efforts made by the Nigerian army special vehicle plant towards strengthening the existing relationship between them and called on the management of the institution to maintained the tempo.
Builder Dauda Bala Pali also assured the delegation the agency’s readiness towards fulfilling it mandate on helping the military industry to achieved it objectives.
Earlier in his speech the managing Director of the Nigerian army special vehicle plant ,Brigadier General AK Lawal said the visit was to remodeling the long existing relationship between the Bauchi state fire service and the Nigerian army special vehicle plant and request the intervention from the state fire fighting industry.
Brigadier General AK Lawal also enumerated some areas that require interventions to include servicing of fire fighting gadgets, training and retraining of officers and men of the Nigeria army special vehicle plant on how to handle eminent fire outbreak in the plant.
He also appreciated the efforts made by the Bauchi state fire service towards supporting the Industry for over a decade which yieldefruitful results.
