Bauchi State Assembly Commission calls on the state govt to provide the commission with office accommodation and vehicles.

The Executive Chairman State House of Assembly Service Commission Alhaji Bapph Haruna Disina has advocated the need for state government to provide the commission with office accommodation, vehicles and approval for the transfer of service aimed at enhancing effective service delivery.

Alhaji Bappa Disina made the call at the ongoing Ministerial press briefing at state secretariat Bauchi.

He said the important of separation of power between the three tiers of government cannot be over emphasised particularly to allow the state house of assembly service commission to take full control of all the legislative bureaucrats as enshrined in the year two thousand and four law establishing the Commission.

Haruna Disina described the employment of sixty six aides to the ninth state assembly by Governor Bala Mohammed as remarkable milestone recorded by the commission.

Responding on the issue of training and retraining, Disina said Governor Bala has earmarked the sum of twenty six million four hundred and eighty four thousand seven hundred and ninety four naira twenty seven kobo to sponsore staff and legislative aides for workshop and seminars from twenty nineteen to twenty-twenty four respectively.
