The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Giɗaɗo, over the death of his mother, the late Hajiya Fatima Muhammad Giɗaɗo.
In a condolence message, the Speaker described the deceased as a woman of virtue who lived a fulfilled life, marked by exemplary motherly guidance, wise counsel, and the nurturing of morally upright individuals within the community.
He noted that members of the State Assembly share in the grief of the Special Adviser and his family, stressing that the loss is not only personal but one that affects the wider society.
He added that her demise has created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
Dr. Suleiman emphasized the invaluable role of mothers in society, describing them as pillars of care, empathy, and support whose contributions are incomparable.
He urged the family to honour her legacy by upholding the values and avoid actions discouraged during her lifetime.
The Speaker also called on the family to continue offering prayers for the repose of her soul.
On behalf of the Honourable Members, Principal Officers, and staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, the speaker prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
