Bauchi SPC Receives Excellence Award from Northern Nigeria Students Association

The Northern Nigeria Students Association (NNSA) has honoured the Bauchi State Coordinator of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support L-PRES Project, Alhaji Musa Adamu One, with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his exemplary leadership and commitment to project implementation.

Speaking during the presentation, the President of the Association, Comrade Sadiq Sabo, said the Coordinator was identified as focused, hardworking, resilient, humble, courageous, and dedicated to achieving project goals. He explained that these attributes informed the decision to honour him with the prestigious Grand Commander of the NNSA award.

Comrade Sabo added that the Association conducted an independent assessment of Musa Adamu One’s personality and credibility, noting that the outcome confirmed him as deserving of the honour.

In his acceptance remarks, the L-PRES Coordinator, Alhaji Musa Adamu One expressed gratitude, saying he was overwhelmed by the recognition and motivated to further intensify his efforts.

Musa One explained that the L-Pres is a World Bank–supported project designed to enhance productivity, strengthen resilience, and promote growth in the livestock sector across participating states.

He highlighted recent achievements under the project, including the award of contracts for artificial insemination (AI), pasture development, facility rehabilitation, and the construction of new slaughterhouses across the state.

Also speaking, Dr. Sam Maina thanked the Association for recognising the project’s impact and encouraged students to incorporate entrepreneurship into their studies as a pathway to financial empowerment.
