Bauchi Governor Receives Public Service Award of Good Governance and Regional Growth.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has presented an Award of Good Governance and Regional Growth, to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.
The Public Service Award, organized by Best Strategic Media, in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, honoured individuals and institutions that demonstrated outstanding performance in public service.
Governor Bala Mohammed, received the award alongside forty-four other recipients, including the Governors of Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Kano, Kogi, and Enugu States, as well as some ministers and organizations.
Presenting the award on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, said the recognition was a testament to Governor Bala Mohammed’s purposeful leadership, innovation, and commitment to urban renewal.
He urged the awardees to remain steadfast in their contributions to national and state development.
In his remarks after receiving the award, Governor Bala Mohammed attributed the achievements of his administration to its emphasis on transparency and prudence in resource management.
He expressed appreciation to the Federal Government and the initiator of the award, Maryam Muhammad, for their courage and fairness in selecting deserving awardees, irrespective of political affiliations and pledged to consolidate on the gains recorded so far.
