Bauchi NUJ pays condolence visit to family of late Veteran Journalist
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ ) Bauchi State Council has condoled the family of late ace broadcaster, Malam Ɗalhat Hamid Bello who died last Saturday following a brief illness.
The NUJ delegation was led by the State Chairman of the union, Comrade Umar Sa’idu who described the sudden death of the committed veteran journalist as a great loss not only to the Union but the state entirely, saying the deceased was a honest, responsible that conducted himself in a simple manner whose life was full of comfort and contentment.
Comrade Umar Sa’idu said during the reigns of Malam Dalhat Hamid Bello before his retirement from service has exhibited high sense of professionalism by dedicating himself to duty and inspiring many through his educational programming.
The NUJ Chairman noted the untiring commitment shown by the deceased, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannatil Firdaus and comfort his family for the irreparable loss.
Responding on behalf of the deceased family, the District Head of Zungur and elder brother to the deceased, Alhaji Sa’idu Hamid Bello commended NUJ leadership for the foresight and expressed delight to the good things being said by many about the late Malam Ɗalhat, described such attitudes attributed to him as pleasing and Godly.
He thanked the NUJ delegation for the condolence visit and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
