Bauchi NAWOJ trains thirty women journalists on Artificial Intelligence.

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Bauchi State Chapter, has trained thirty women journalists on the use of Artificial Intelligence in their reportage.

Speaking at the training held at the NUJ Bauchi, the facilitator Asiya Rabe Soli, a computer scientist, described the training as vital, especially for women journalists, noting that it would help them disseminate their stories more easily and effectively.

She emphasized the need for the women journalists to always review their stories before publishing to avoid spreading misinformation generated by AI.

On her part, the Bauchi State NAWOJ Chairperson, Hajiya Rashida Yusuf, said the training was organized to enhance journalists skills, particularly women.

She noted that the initiative would go a long way in reshaping the practice of women journalists.
