BAUCHI LOCAL GOVERMENT COUNCIL REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISLAMIC ACTIVITIES

The Executive Chairman Bauchi local government area Alhaji Mahmood Babamaji has reaffirmed his council’s readiness to continue supporting Islamic activities for the propagation of Islam in the state and county at large
Alhaji Mahmood Babamaji gave the assurance during the presentation of awards to the winners of the just concluded this year’s state Qur’anic recitation held at the council premises
The Chairman appreciated Governor Bala Mohammad efforts and the organising committee of the competition as well as the teachers that led to its overall success in the state and Bauchi local government in particular
He encouraged the participants to strive hard towards seeking knowledge and make judicious utilization to better their lives.
Highlight at the occasion were presentation of gift to the twelve participants to include the first, second and third winners bagged by Maryam Abdullahi Launi, and Zainab Mohammad who got Keke Nape each and the third position went to Ayuba Adam with a boxer motorcycle among others and a personal donation to them by the chairman Bauchi local government , Alhaji Mahmood Babamaji.
