Bauchi Govt restates commitment to peace, progress and resilience governance in the State

The Bauchi State Government has expressed its determination to continue to promote peace, progress and resilience governance particularly on the issues related to security affairs.

The Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs Alh. Ibrahim Gambo Galadima made the ascertain during his speech prior to the receive of an award of Excellence from Amana newspaper a prominent Hausa Newspaper in Nigeria.

The event took place today at an award ceremony organised by Amana newspaper which was held at the conference Hall of the federal secretariat Bauchi.

The Commissioner was ably represented by SSA on security to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State , Hon. Sulaiman Siyi, Chiroman Siyi at the event.

Hon. Ibrahim Gambo commended His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for always making a proactive measure to maintain a peaceful Bauchi State.

He noted that managing Security issues is everybody’s business, called on all and sundry to support government Security initiatives with prayers for a better society.

While acknowledging the receive of the award, Ibrahim Gambo admonished Amana Newspaper to continue to uphold the dignity of Hausa heritage, describing the paper as one of the very few existing Hausa Newspaper in Nigeria.

He emphasised that in history Northern Nigeria produced pioneer writers, whose writings reflected our education , customs and traditions, therefore advised Amana newspaper to collaborate with other stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education for safeguarding those historic Hausa books.
