Bauchi Assembly sympathizes With Nigerians on the current economic reality in the country.

Bauchi State House of Assembly has sympathized with people of the State and Nigerians across the country especially the poor masses on the current economic realities in Nigeria.

A member of the State house of assembly committee on information Builder Sa’idu Suleiman Darazo made the sympathy while addressing state assembly correspondents.

To this end, he said the state assembly has deemed it necessary to adjourned its plenary to expressed concerns over the situation that makes the Nigeria Labour Union to embarked on a two day nationwide protest across the country.

Builder Sa’idu Darazo assured people of the state and Nigerians that the current challenges will soon be over and pleaded that people should avoid anything capable of causing unrest in the country.

While urging governments at all levels to continues to work hard and solve these problems, the lawmaker advised Nigerians to stay calm and maintain the peace in the country.

While calling on the people to venture into farming, builder Sa’idu also advised the state and Federal governments to provide farm inputs to farmers at subsidized rate, saying such subsidy would check food inflation in the country.

He said it would go a long way in enhancing agricultural productivity and guarantee food security in the country.

Another member of the Committee Dr. Nasiru Ahmed Ala member representing Chinade/Madara constituency said, to complement govt efforts in that regard, 31 members of the tenth assembly have attended a three day capacity building workshop in Gombe State organized by the State office of the SDGs.

According to him, the workshop has exposed the lawmakers to various opportunities of SDGs goals 17 that centered on hunger, health, education, agriculture gender equality among others.

Dr. Nasiru Ala said state house of assembly would support the SDGs achieve it goals for the benefits of people of the state.
