Balange Honoured as First Kaigaman Inkil, Pledges Continued Service to Community

Alhaji Ibrahim Tijjani Balange has been turbaned as the first Kaigaman of Inkil by the Sarkin Inkil, Alhaji Sani Abdullahi, in a colourful ceremony held at the Inkil palace.

The event was marked by a strong call for the new titleholder to uphold the dignity and honour of the palace and the wider community.

Speaking during the ceremony, the Sarkin Inkil described Balange as a committed and compassionate son of Bauchi State, noting his dedication to humanitarian service and community development.

The turbanning was in recognition of Balange’s significant contributions to the development of Inkil and surrounding communities, especially his efforts in supporting youth, women, and vulnerable groups, were highlighted as key reasons for the honour

He urged the newly turbaned Kaigaman not to relent in his efforts, especially in promoting self-reliance among the people.

The traditional ruler also praised the Inkil palace as a respected institution with a strong reputation across the country, while calling on residents to remain united and peaceful.

In his remarks, the District Head of Dambam, Alhaji Halilu Aliyu, commended Balange’s patriotism and his consistent concern for the wellbeing of others.

He also expressed appreciation to the village head of Inkil for bestowing the title on a deserving individual.

Responding on behalf of the turbanees, Alhaji Ibrahim Tijjani Balange expressed gratitude for the honour and pledged to justify the confidence placed in him.

He assured the traditional leadership of his unwavering support and commitment to the progress and development of the Inkil community.

Balange also extended his appreciation to family, friends, and well-wishers for their support and solidarity during the ceremony.
