Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi has warned public on the activities of unscrupulous people extorting money from unsuspecting job seekers with the promise of offering them a job in the University.

A statement signed by the institution’s Director, DI&PR Alh. Zailani Bappa also informed the general public that the University is not in the process of employing staff in any capacity, nor has it employed any persons to aid the process on its behalf.
This, according to the statement, it also applies to the admission exercise which has its official procedure as well.
The statement further advised public to be wary of these fraudulent persons and report anybody who advances financial request to them in the name of finding for them either a job or admission in the University.
