Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission has training One thousand five hundred adhoc staff in Toro Local government for the conduct of 17th August 2024 Saturdays Local Government Elections.
The Toro local Government electoral officer Malam Nazif Usman Adamu disclosed this while speaking to newsmen on the exercise in Gyemzo Central primary school Toro.
Nazif Adam said the training was conducted in the three districts of the local government, Toro, Lame and Jamaa.
According to him, the one day training is expected to cover all the election procedures as expected.
Nazif further disclosed that already his office has received all sensitive non sensitive election materials for onward distribution to the four hundred and twenty three polling units of the local government.
He advice the trainees to uphold the lesson of the training so as to carry out their election duties effectively in accordance with the provided electoral law.
