Bauchi State Gov’t To Digitise Own Media Organisations

DIGITIZATION OF STATE OWNED MEDIA ORGANISATIONS BY THE BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT.

Bauchi State Government has procured mordern equipments worth two Billion naira aimed at digitizing State owned Media stations, the BRC and BATV in order to meet with global best practices.

The Commissioner of Information and Communication Alhaji Usman Danturaki stated this when a special delegation from the National Council of Health Workers Union of Nigeria North east Zone visited him in his office.

The commissioner said the Governor is committed to improving the services of the State owned media organisations, the BRC and BATV where he said steps are being taken to make sure that these outfits are brought to normal level for uptimum productivity.

He applauded the Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir for doing well not only to the state but the entire Nation, which according to him would not relent in supporting his administration to achieve the target.

Alhaji Danturaki however conveyed his appreciation to the Zonal Team of Medical and health workers union of Nigeria for the visit and promised to maintain the long existing cordial relationship between them.

Responding, the Zonal Secretary North east Central of the Health Workers Union of Nigeria Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Karshi, said the aim of the visit is to congratulate Usman Danturaki for his appointment by Governor Bala Muhammed being a member of the Medical and Health Workers family.

He emphasized the need for the commissioner to invest his wealth of experience in the discharge of his responsibility.
